Beautifully styled and planned by Stephanie at Designed by Ess, Mila’s 2nd Birthday transformed a family home into a soft pastel wonderland filled with playful details, beautiful textures, and thoughtful styling from every angle.

From the moment guests arrived, the space felt warm, whimsical, and full of life. Soft pink draping floated overhead, oversized balloon installations framed the space, and every corner revealed another beautifully considered moment for guests to discover.

The event balanced elegance and fun effortlessly, creating a celebration that felt just as special for the adults as it did for the kids.

A Celebration Full of Sweet Details

Guests wandered through a custom-designed event space featuring pastel lounges, florals, themed signage, dessert stations, a gelato cart, and dedicated entertainment zones designed to keep little guests smiling all afternoon.

Children moved between the bubble dome, ball pit, jumping castle, and soft play areas while parents relaxed amongst beautifully styled lounge spaces and layered tablescapes.

One of the standout features of the event was the consistency of the styling throughout the entire space. From the custom checkerboard flooring through to the lilac Parisian lounges and soft pastel palette, every detail worked together to create an environment that felt cohesive, playful, and incredibly inviting.

Building the Foundation

The Party Hire Co was proud to supply the marquee structures and custom flooring that helped bring the event to life.

Creating a clean and functional foundation allowed the styling team to completely transform the space while ensuring guests remained comfortable throughout the celebration.
