Volksfest Australia 2025 brought colour, energy and community spirit to Swansea Lakeside Holiday Park. The Party Hire Company was thrilled to help shape the atmosphere with a complete festival fit out. Our team supplied marquee hire, staging, event furniture and site styling that turned the lakeside venue into a welcoming festival precinct for car lovers, families and locals.

Creating Spaces People Loved

The Beer Hall marquee became the social hub of the weekend. A 10m x 24m white Hocker marquee with festoon lighting created a warm glow and a place to meet, share a meal and enjoy the view. Nearby, a 10m x 6m stage marquee housed an 8.5m x 4.8m stage with a professional black skirt, giving performers a strong platform and keeping sightlines clear for the crowd.

Families had a dedicated Kids Marquee. The 10m x 3m structure was set with bright, child sized tables and red chairs, making activities easy and keeping things comfortable for parents taking a breather.

Festival Furniture and Styling

Comfort and flow were key across the site. We rolled out more than 300 white bistro chairs for dining zones and gathering points. A mix of timber tables, wine barrels, rustic bar stools and Hampton outdoor chairs created relaxed breakouts that felt at home by the water. White picket fencing framed key areas, guided foot traffic and added a polished finish that tied the festival village together.

Smooth Setup and Community Impact

Our crew coordinated delivery and installation across two days in the lead up to opening. Every component was planned and checked, which meant gates opened right on schedule. This allowed the organisers to focus on programming, entertainment and guest experience while we handled the build and the details.

Volksfest Australia once again raised funds for Beyond Blue. Seeing thousands of visitors gather for a great cause made the weekend even more meaningful. We are proud to support events that lift community spirit and contribute to mental health services across Australia.
